Hello. I have posted an album and then deleted it. after I deleted that album no images are showing in the stream and in PHOTO ALBUMS.


STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1 Posted a new album image
2 Deleted that specific album
3 With it all stream is gone now and photos are not showing but the album info is still there.
4 My programmer peruged cached and Cleared cache.

RESULT
After the programmer cleared the cache as he claims, now we are seeing the old version of jomsocial.
We need to have all the images and stream showing and revert the setting and visuals as it was on July 1st,2016
The version we need back on is: com_community_pro_4.2.2

Why do we see the old version now?

EXPECTED RESULT
The version we need back on is: com_community_pro_4.2.2
Show all the stream and photo album and the design we lost do to Cache clearing.

This issue caused by your old Jomsocial version 3.2.0.5, can you make sure you update to the latest version correctly, I am not sure if you already upgraded it and back to the old version, this is very weird.. maybe you can try again to upgrade to 4.2.2 right now, please?

your jomsocial still using 3.2.0.5. please upgrade it to first 4.0.x and next to 4.1.x and 4.2.2
you can download it at:
www.jomsocial.com/download-old

for 4.2.2. download it from jomsocial.com -> my account

unzip and install it from joomla extensiont manager, no need to uninstall enything.

my suggestion please do it at your test site first.

Can you tell me if all the images are still on the site or are they gone? I had version 4.2.2 and when the programmer clear the cache it went back to old version. I will update and let you know.

No, it wont be gone, as long as you do not remove/truncate the database or remove the images folder on Joomla! root.

Can you see if the images are in the image folder. Am I safe?

i am not sure about it, since i dont know your old data.. right now I only can see 1 folder (1 user photo folder) on images/photos/

I was the only one that posted albums. I should have about 100 albums.

I think your albums already deleted, you need to backup your data before any update process, or you install akeeba backup..

well, our update process wont delete any folder or database record

The issue is not showing all the time. A friend with the iPhone send me this screenshot and I saw it too on Apple laptop.
