Video upload setup questions

When I go to the support forum at www.jomsocial.com/forum/category/list and click "Request a new feature" to ask support my question, I find no way to ask my question.

Am I doing this wrong?

Should I be going to some other link to ask for support about setting up my video uploads?

On the video tutorial at documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Video_L..._Upload_Requirements , the version of JomSocial looks nothing like the 4.1.5 version that I'm working with.

I am lost here.

Hi Larry,

That "Request a new feature" is for vote and submit new jomsocial feature, you will be redirected to uservoice page there.

If you wanna ask the technical question you can go to this page www.jomsocial.com/forum/support , click one of category there and you will see the button to create new topic



That documentation already outdated, we used the old backend template there, but well the configuration is almost same with the newest version.

Anyway, would you mind tp ellaborate more of your video issue more detail, please? we will help it.

In the video, in the JomSocial Configuration it refers to the Media Tab which has lots of vital settings for videos. I see no Media tab in my installation of JomSocial.

Where can I get to those settings or is something wrong with my installation of JomSocial 4.1.5?

On Videos tab, please check Video Settings, you wanna put FFMPEG path right? you can put on there :)

My Maimum Upload size is set to 100 MB and upload_max_filesize defined in php.ini 256 MB.

My FFMPEG path is set as in your screen cap. Show Video Map (NO) and Delete Original Videos (NO).

When I upload a video from a member profile, it is visible in the JomSocial/Videos/All Videos, but never gets released to be viewed in the member profile.

When I click on an uploaded video in All Videos, it displays a blank video with no video transport controls.

What am I doing wrong?

please asking your hosting support about FFMPEG version that installed at server.
make sure that FFMPEG uptodate
ffmpeg.org/

and I need your credentials information, you can edit your first post and put it at site info form.
I need to access your site backend as super user.

I'm sure this issue related with FFMPEG version at your server.
