Hi there

I have upload a video for test. it's an .mp4 video with 5MB!

after the upload button shows a message:

"Your video is now processing. We will send you a notification when it's ready to view."

Now i've 2 issues:

1. why this video is not showing rightnow? i wait about 1 hour but no notification is coming in.

2. after that, i've some sql errors.

please login and check this site from the videos.

and also please do not post a link about my site - because it's a dev-site!

thanks for your help,
andre

Hi, Andre.

uploaded videos won't be showed right away - they need to be converted.
Why they are not converted? Because you need to configure cron job to convert them automatically or execute cron manually in Backend -> Components -> Jomscoial _> Monitor -> Mail queue -> Execute cron (button upper right).

Please, read this documentation for video upload requirements:
documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Video_L..._Upload_Requirements

If video still won't be converted it may men:
- you provided wrong path to FFMPEG on your server (contact your hosting provider for right one)
- FFMPEG library installed on your server is too old (a very common issue). Contact your hosting provider to upgrade it to latest version
- or other unspecified issues that need to be investigated separately

Regarding your second issue, Please post a printscreen as I checked your video pages and no issue was present.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
