I got that message because my upload speed to low. upload time more bigger than max execution time.
at your site, how many seconds for upload this video?
I'm sure this issue related with server. could you please asking the server support?
tell them what your php configurations. and still cant upload 47MB video.
it can be some restriction at server side.
Hi the said it is very strange because they won't have a limit of 47mb
They say that unsupported file type is a strange message for uploading video files because it is a popular file type that has been around for a very long time. They think is a bug in software giving wrong error message as 47mb is very small for video files in this day they wouldn't have such restrictions for a file of just 47mb as it would a silly limit that would lose them customers....
Hiya just had a follow up email that said that there are no restrictions that would be in place and that php settings are more than enough for a 47mb file. According to DH it is definitely a software issue... :(
please goto joomla backend > content > media. and try to upload that AVI video.
at the end you will got Internal Server Error.
that mean the files was failed to be uploaded. please have a look at server error log (not joomla error log) to find the error detail.
you can asking your hosting support about how to find error log at server side.
I tried to upload this AVI video at my test site, there is no issue. video successfully converted.
