JomSocial Expired Socialize Expired

Hi,

since we made the upgrade to 4.2 we have a language issue after the photo upload.
So when a user uploads a pictures in a group the community news is like: "kanoon hat 57 Fotos in" which means "Jason has 57 pictures in"
...so there are some parts missing: no link to the group and no link to the photo album.

Did you change the codes for the groups, albums, etc. in the language files?
How can I fix it?

Cheers,
Max

Hi

please check it. to fix it, I put language overrides at joomla backend > extensions > languages > overrides

please make sure you are using language pack from:
www.jomsocial.com/addons/translation-packs

Thanks Albertus!
Yes, I took the original file. But there were so many misspellings that I needed to make several amendments directly in the language file.
Do you have an overview of all language codes? like <a href....> means "singlular picture

Hi,

jomsocial original language only in English. for other language not belongs to jomsocial. but as "3rd party".
I cant review all language codes. <a href....> mean for link.

I'm not sure what do you mean with overview all language codes.

Hi Albertus,

I mean, every code in the language file means something in JomSocial.
Like "%1$s's Stream-Photos" means "User XY's Stream-Photos" or this "<a href=_QQQ_%1$s_QQQ_>" means "group"...
Is there an overview of all those codes with the meanings, so that I could easily replace old/wrong codes (some of those you have fixed already) with the new ones?

Cheers,
Max

Hi,

here the explanation about it:
docs.joomla.org/Formatted_fields_in_lang..._translation_strings

the best way to replace wrong code, you need to compare it with English language string.
