ISSUE SUMMARY:
I was able to upload photo and covers twice, that always failed. The indicator blu bar progresses and stops when full during upload, but nothing more, I need to close the dialog box manually and the photo was not uploaded. Have I done something wrong?

Hi, Federico.

Yes, you have misconfiguration in your menu.
First of all you duplicated JomSocial menu items.
If you want to have JS menu items in your main menu - then use menu item aliases instead of creating new menu items that lead to certain JS pages. Use menu alias and point to JomSocial Toolbar menu items.

Second you don't have JomSocial frontpage menu item - I've created it in Hidden menu.
This should solve your issue... but I can't check it as "This site is down for maintenance." and my access rights are too low.

Another mistake is that you've tried to create JomSocial frontpage menu item... and set it to REGISTERED only. This will cause that no one will be able to see your community or even register.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Hi,
it works almost completely, but after the new user registration, the back button link to the frontpage (community.html). Is it possible to link back to the previous page or homepage at least?

Thanks

Hi, Federico.

Yes, you may change this link by editing this file;

ROOT/components/com_community/templates/jomsocial/layouts/register/success.php

Copy it to;

ROOT/templates/your-template/html/com_community/layouts/register (if you don't have those folders - feel free to create them)

And change line 14, just remove <?php echo $uri; ?> and provide your URL.
