Welcome the Technical Support section. Help us in assisting you by providing us with a concise and descriptive elaboration of your issues. Be specific and if possible, provide us with a step-by-step instruction in replicating your problem.
ISSUE SUMMARY: If you upload a large .mov video file to your stream, the upload never completes. It just sits there with the progress bar at 100% indefinitely. This issue does not occur with smaller files.
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
Now the issues that are occurring are one of the two each time.
1. On a video that is 200MB plus, the upload simply never completes. It just "stops" transferring data and is stuck there with the progress bar, as mentioned in my original post.
2. On a video that is 148MB the upload presents me with the following "Undefined Error". See image.
3. On a video that is 121MB the upload completes successfully without issue.
I have included in the "special area" the info from my php.info.php file. It will show you all of my PHP settings and that they are to your specifications. Please review and let me know if anything has been overlooked. If not, I will appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue.
Blessings,
Steven Dunn
EDIT: I have also noted that even small videos that "successfully" upload are stuck in "pending". Even after running the cron job, they are no longer being sent to Zencoder for processing. It appears my entire video upload/transfer function is not working correctly. <<< Just discovered that this issue only occurs if you have the video size set to "Maintain Aspect Ratio".
Discovered the issue was due to mod_security blocking the upload to due the file size. Just FYI for other customers, disable the appropriate rule in mod_security.
