I get the problem with video on my site like this video www.youtube.com/watch?v=adtUIcJ4hz4&feature=youtu.be

- Why the processor loading to play video doesn't load center or middle on the stream, it shows at the bottom.
- My wife and my son in the video seem tall more than out side the video. Could you tell me, how could I keep the original width and height after one video uploaded into the my site.
- Why the link doesn't bring me to display video automatic. The link bring me to the stream.

I am not sure about my setting cron job at my vps corrects or not? I selected at System user is root

because I get alter email from my vps

- that video loading because the video using HTTP protocol (not streaming), the player from 3rd party library, jomsocial cant control it.
- if you upload the video that not having same ration 4:3 (your current setting) that video will not propositional.
- please send me the link at the email. the video ratio depend with video settings at jomsocial backend.

and about that cron job email that from your VPS it self. you can turn off that email. that email only for notification. you can asking your VPS support about how to turn off that email.

Oh, I see. Those videos upload from my Iphone 5 and the videos file are at home. If you have Iphone 5 and you record and them upload.

I marked this as confirmed bug. but the issue not from jomsocial, its from FFMPEG it self.
let me discuss with the team first what can we do.

and please make sure you are using latest version of FFMPEG. and try to changing video settings at your phone

here the fix, make sure you are using jomsocial 4.1.4:

unzip it and put it at:
/administrator/components/com_community/views/configuration/view.html.php
/components/com_community/libraries/videos.php

you need to select the video size first at jomsocial video setting at backend

after that, try to upload new video
