ISSUE SUMMARY:
Photos fail to upload to stream resulting in a popup undefined error message.


STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1 Click Upload Photo in Status area on the stream
2 Select and upload photo as normal
3 Photo begins uploading
4 Undefined Error Appears and No Photo is uploaded

RESULT
No Photo uploaded to stream
EXPECTED RESULT
Photo to upload sucessfully

If it helps I just noticed that comments on an activity stream item which was deleted by admin, are now appearing to be attached to someone else's activity stream item. Could this error and photo error be related?

this is mysterious issue.
joomla it self cant upload any files. at joomla backend > content > media

please try to turn off disable_functions from php configuration. you can asking server support about it.

Hi there, in live chat at the moment, they are trying to locate where the change should be made.
Could you shed some light if at all possible?

apparently they moved a php.ini file into the folder and added something to htaccess and say it should work now, but still unable to upload photos.

Ive noticed that every attempt there has been to make an album, including yours, the same comments are applied to it each time?

Well,
After much screaming and shouting... I mean convincing a friend from another website, we discovered an issue in configuration.php that occurred in a recent joomla update that has been mentioned by a couple of people.

Something changed with the update (security fix??)
Anyway the line was changed from
public $live_site = ' www.domain.com/ ';
to
public $live_site = ' domain.com/ ';
which seemed to fix the undefined error.

Might be a setting worth checking with others who also have the same error message. Very strange as it worked perfectly up until this point!

However. The comments on the wall posts for albums still appear (take a look at the site's stream at your test album) - could this be a JS Bug?
