Photo upload problem

ISSUE SUMMARY:
In a test user account, when I tried to upload a photo, whether it is for avatar or in a post, I got stuck when the process bar reached to the end, like in the attached screen shot.

I saw some other post with similar problem but it is due to sh404SEF however I am not using that at all. Is that something I should to in terms of configuration i.e. turn off cache?
Thanks.

Hi, Clarence.

It seems you have server issues: i.imgur.com/wMvC58G.png
Host not found.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Hi Michal, it should be up at least when I check just now.
Please let me know if you still can't access.
Thanks.

Hi, Clarence.

The issue was that "Members lounge" has www in URL.... and your site domain doesn't resolve that address... it should be without www.

Photo upload issue is caused by internal server error: i.prntscr.com/dcb39fbee1984680856c95d15471a9bd.png
Please, contact with your hosting provider and as for server error log.

Hi Michal, is there any other way to get around the problem?

Basically I have been contacting my host but the claim that there is a backlog of support tickets and unable to assign someone to work on my ticket at the moment...

Is there something I can do while I wait for their response?
Thanks again and I really appreciate your help.

Hi, Clarence.

I'm sorry but there is not - this seems to be server issue. WE don't support "problematic hosting".
Please, read our Support Policy: www.jomsocial.com/support

Hi Michal, the host support finally got back to me and seems the domain name issue is resolved, i.e the profile page doesn't have www. anymore.

Now I can post photos but still could not change the avatar. Is this the same issue as before or it is caused by something else?

Thanks.

Hi Michal, the server is back up now.
So basically now I still can't change the avatar and I can't change the cover by uploading a photo. But I can change the cover to an image in the photo album and I can post a photo in the posts.
Thank you very much!

Hi Albertus,

I have edited the first post with my cpanel login and password.
I tried to turn off the SEF and URL rewriting but then I couldn't access the profile page. When I turned them back on, I can access the profile page again. Do you know why that happened or if I need to do something on the setting?

Thank you very much for your help.
