upload very slow

Good morning,
I would like some advice.
We have a JomSocial installed in VPS quadcore with 4 GB of RAM but uploading photos (even one of 100kb) or video is really,really slow.
We optimized the php file as your input (documentation).
What can we do? increase the RAM? Bandwitch 5 TB for month.
It is very slow...
We save all in Amazon s3 ..... is it better in local server?

Hi Ciro,

I am not sure how show is it, because I test upload 1.1MB and not really bad. Maybe issue from your connection.

Amazon is better, but when uploading the photos it will be be saved on local server first, and will be transfered to amazon via cron job.
