Linked Youtube video not playing

ISSUE SUMMARY:
Upload a video by linking to a youtube url but the video does not play. Also how do I upload videos directly from my computer?

STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1Go to activity stream page from login
2Click on video updated by the super user
3 Video does not play

RESULT Video does not paly
EXPECTED RESULT Video should play and I should be able to upload video from my computer

I'm sorry but I can't replicate your issue. I just linked an YT video on your site and it can be played: prntscr.com/877hrr

If you want to enable video uploads, please enable it in Backend -> Components -> JomSocial -> Videos -> Video configuration: prntscr.com/877i97
Also make sure that you have FFMPEG installed on your server in recent version, ask your hosting provider for for correct path to FFMPEG. Finally configure cron job.

Make sure about your server file upload limitations to know how big video files you'll be able to upload.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
