Welcome the Technical Support section. Help us in assisting you by providing us with a concise and descriptive elaboration of your issues. Be specific and if possible, provide us with a step-by-step instruction in replicating your problem.
I am building a community that heavily depend on photos and navigating through photos is very important.
I don't see anyway to filter images as there is no category, tag fields or custom fields available for photos. Is this correct or have I missed something? If correct, will any options like that be on the road map for future version? Maybe even a way to search photo description, tags(not profile names), custom fields, etc)
Is there a way to display all photos? For a user or all?
What I get now when I click "All photos" is albums, I'm looking for all photos in all albums displayed like thumbnails (like when seeing all photos of an album displayed as thumbnails).
I have bough a third party product from Minitek as they do some very nice wall displays, however for displaying JomSocial profiles, photos, etc. the filtering options are not really great as the options I seek are not available in JomSocial.
Anyone with experience or ideas for these subjects?
Thanks and I appreciate any input anyone can give me! :-)
No, you didn't missed anything. Photos in JomSocial are organized in albums and they can't be searched (without 3rd party plugins). Also you can't display ALL photos on one page (with pagination). I thin k that the best solution will be to use other photo extension like JoomGallery. Many users ware asking them to do integration with JomSocial... but currently there is none...
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
