ISSUE SUMMARY:
We have problem to upoad large video like we have video which size is more that 300mb. And we can upload only 12mb from joomsoical. So is there any way to upload larage video on joomsical any plugin or somthing else. I am using filechuker to upload laege file in my other php project but i don`t know how to do that with Joomsocial. Please help me to solve this.

You should tweak your server configuration and edit your php.ini change "upload_max_filesize" to 300MB, please you contact your hosting provider for this. And then you change Jomsocial configuration->Photos->Photos Setting, find this config item "Maximum Upload Size" change to 300

Thansk for the update. but i don`t want to change php.ini setting. Is it possible with out change that limit i can upload video large than 300mb.
I know we can do it with CGI upload for this i used file chuker. but how i can do it on jomsoical.

Hi Melissa,

There is no way for this to be done without writing in your own upload library which would be a rather large job. Jomsocial is written to follow the settings in the php.ini file. If this cannot be increased then you would need to hack the product to customise it

I will try to do that. or finding another solution. I can us CGI to upload videos. Because i have another php sites and in that i am using CGI script to upload large video.
