ISSUE SUMMARY:

I have enabled S3 storage. At the moment, the cron job is running once a day (we are still in development mode), but we plan to run it every 1 hour.

When a user changes avater or cover, the image shows broken , until the cron job runs.

I understand that we have to wait for the cron job to run, but even if we setup the cron job to run every 5 minutes, in the time between those 5 minutes, the images will still be broken.

Is this a bug or is this how it works?

If this is how it works, I believe it needs a change , because images should be still shown until cron runs succesfully. What would happen if cron would fail for some reason. Images should still be able to show.

Does this fix affect all file types or just avatars,covers?

Is this hack going to be available in next update, or do we have to implement after every new update.

Hi Haris,

the reported issues from customers so far only at profile cover. this is only for temporary fix. our developer still re-buid the code for S3 compatibility. not sure it will done at next release.
