Disable Video tagging

Hi I would like to disable the option for users to tag videos with friends. How do I do this please?

JS4.0 + Socialize 2

Hi, Andy.

There is no administration option to disable it... but you can hide that button so no one will be able to tag. Add this code:

.joms-popup__btn-tag-video, .joms-js--btn-tag {
display: none !important;
}

To ROOT/templates/socialize/css/custom.css (if you don't have custom.css - feel free to create it)

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Ah, there was small typo... lack of . on the beginning. And also you're using gray theme. So custom.css path should be;

ROOT/templates/socialize/css/theme/gray/custom.css

I fixed it on your site.

hi Michal, this works for Modal window but doesn.t appear to work if video is displayed in the same window - the tag option is still available (see images).
