We are having trouble with converting a video.
FFMPEG has been installed on the server, the server is running Linux Mint 17.01. Command prompt available only unless you run startx...
FFMPEG-PHP is installed and the ffmpeg.so is loaded. Reports in grep provide confirmation as well as physically see the php.ini file loaded with ffmpeg support.
The web site currently does not reside with the server that it will be running on, which has FFMPEG it resides on the database server, which has not FFMPEG.
This is our live development, we are soon moving this to the linux server for production. The web site that is on this one already, is a development site to go into production. so it is our development base for JomSocial.
Hi, Gerard.
Do I see it right? You have installed FFMPEG in version 0.6.0?
Latest version is 2.5.3, please, try to upgrade it first.
Then make sure that you provide correct path to library in JomSocial video configuration.
Your correct on the version, that is the version ffmpeg-php support. I am following your instructions.
Right now, I have ran the following commands in our Production Server.
wget http://www.ffmpeg.com/ffmpeg-2.5.3.tar.bz2tar -xf ffmpeg-2.5.3.tar.bz2cd ffmpeg-2.5.3./configuremakemake install

Hello,
As we were reviewing the video section, less then 1/4 of our videos show from other web sites as well.
What could this be?
What document were you trying to write too? For logging purposes we want to know.
(Network Attached Storage)
Also, our NAS starts at 6:00 AM, network may run slow, this is the NAS first run. We will be logging its performance with the network.
