Welcome the Technical Support section. Help us in assisting you by providing us with a concise and descriptive elaboration of your issues. Be specific and if possible, provide us with a step-by-step instruction in replicating your problem.
Some videos linking from YouTube are failing to play, they will show on the activity stream with the correct title and description, however with no thumbnail and the length will read "0.00"
It happens to a small number of videos, however I have replicated sometimes when doing this:
Go to YouTube, select video, pause video,
Copy URL and paste to activity stream - fails as above
Go to YouTube, select video, allow video to play. Copy URL and paste to activity stream - video works
Pasting the URL while the YouTube video is paused seems to cause the error on some videos
Im unable to replicate this. The url is the same regardless of the video position, could you tell me a specific you tube video you can replicate this on
One user just encountered it with this video for some reason, I tried to upload and it worked however. I think it may be a browser issue, I will try and get more information from one of the affected users.
I have tried with that video and am not getting this error. If you are able to provide the steps to replicate please re open this thread and post the details
I am unable to replicate regularly or identify the specific steps, however this is the phypmyadmin screenshots showing the data that's saved - something must be going wrong somewhere as the video title is being picked up, so the youtube link must be correct however the data saved is missing
You will note the video type has saved as "file" with the rest of the data "null". I have video uploads disabled on my server, only allow videos from youtube etc
I also replicate it and seems working fine, I thought this issue caused by the "Video Url at Current time" but when I check it everything is working as well.
I think this issue caused by your video, would you mind provide me the video sample please?
Ah I able to replicate it now, this issue caused by "Video Url at Current time", but well.. this issue is working fine on newest code.. so this is will be fixed in next package.
