I installed the latest version of jomsocial. My jommla version is Joomla! 3.3.4.
I was trying to posts some stuff at the wall. When i try to link a video from youtube it comes this:

both without sucess.

I saw all video tutorials:
The curl php library is enable in my server.
the cronjob work well too:

Please, try to disable site preloader and additional jQuery.
Then switch template to Joomla! default "protostar" and check again.

cron-job.org/en/

you can check it out. You have the access under:

I think some of cURL setting is not configured properly, please you discuss with your hosting provide regarding this error :
