I only worked out last night that, due to the absence of flash player, videos cannot be viewed on iPhone and iPad devices.

I've read through the forum but can't quite work out the steps to be able to fix this problem. Do I have to create an account with Zencoder? Is this the only way? Is there anything else that has to be done?

Is this an issue that is going to be fixed in a future update?

My I know the sample URL please? because since version 3.1 we changed the code for video player, we are using HTML 5, so it will work fine in iOS device.

I've just checked the videos on iPhone and they seem to be working now.

On the iPad, the video shows with the play button in the middle, but when clicking the play button it doesn't start. There's no problem with the sensitivity of the screen on the iPad.

This is youtube issue, right? let me guess you are using ios 8 right? seems this issue issue from ios itself. not Jomsocial issue :)
