Hi, William.
Could you specify which video is that? Please, post a link to video or video title.

It was posted initially in:

Hi, William.
I was on your site and uploaded a video in this group. There was no issues on the way and video was assigned to group.
Your video seems to be upoladed in Videos not in Groups...
Please, try again.
Browse to group, then click on Videos under group cover and then click add button.
Hi Michal
The issue is when I upload the video in the recent activities feed it uploads in Videos and not in the group. Also if the video is recorded in Portrait it shows in Landscape, if it is recorded in Landscape it shows correctly in landscape
kind Regards
William
Hi, William.
OK, I was able to replicate it on your site. I asked other support members to test it on their server in order to check if it's a local issue or bug.
If you want to rotate image, you'll need to configure FFMPEG library as it handles video conversion.
Hi Michal
I notice you were able to upload a video to the Recent Activities feed but it is still not working for me. Also, where do I configure the FFMPEG library
Kind Regards
William
Hi William,
Both the group video uploads and the portrait /landscape issue are confirmed bugs. I will change the status of this thread to confirmed bug and once the fix is available we will update this post
Hi, William.
Please, make a safe copy of those files:
ROOT/components/com_community/assets/_release/js/bundle.js
ROOT/components/com_community/assets/_source/js/views/postbox/video.js
ROOT/components/com_community/libraries/videos.php
Then upload content of zip package to Joomla! main folder.
Thanks Michal/Paul
My developer made the changes and the issue is fixed, however now unregistered users cannot click on a group, even if it not set as private, when they click on a group they are returned to the jomsocial home page as if they had not clicked on anything. if you think this is not a result of the video issue changes I will start a new thread.
To view the issue:
Public Users get this url and cannot view any group
www.nakoo.net/social-business-networking...ple-training-network
The correct access can be achieved if you change the url as follows
www.nakoo.net/social-business-networking...ple-training-network
Logged in users get a url similar to this and get correct access
www.nakoo.net/social-business-networking...ple-training-network
Kind regards
William
Hi, William.
Please, ALWAYS OPEN NEW thread for NEW issues.
Your issue is not related with fix you've applied.
This was a valid bug and was already fixed. Here is a fix:
