Possible to remove 'UPLOAD VIDEO button in group 'add video' feature?

Is FFMPEG mandatory to allow for video uploads within groups? If so, is it possible to ONLY display the ADD VIDEO feature within the group video feature and not the UPLOAD VIDEO?

Hi,

Yes FFMPEG is mandatory for upload video, if you wanna disabled the upload videos you can setting it from Jomsocial backend->videos->videos setting.

Hi.

FFMPEG library is mandatory whenever you want to CONVERT uploaded videos. Without it conversion will not work.
It doesn't affect UPLOAD but CONVERSION. Without it you'll upload file, but it will be never available.

The only way to disable upload possibility is to disable upload for JomSociall (in Video configuration).

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Thank you guys. Also, I do have the Enable Video Uploads setting turned NO in Jomsocial backend->videos->videos setting, but the upload video feature is still displaying (it just says "Video File Upload disabled" if you try to use it). Should it not be visible if it is set to NO?

Ok, I have updated to the most recent version of jomsocial. It still displays the UPLOAD VIDEO feature and I do have the ENABLE VIDEO UPLOADS setting turned NO in Jomsocial backend->videos->videos setting

Update: the problem was the number of video uploads in groups needed to be set to 0 to disable the upload feature. It is no longer displaying. thanks
