I just setup JomSocial. I am not able to upload images in any form. I can't even change the avatar. Once I browse to select image and try to upload, it just doesn't do anything and does not throw any error. And I have both GD library and Imagick enabled.

It seems htaccess issue.
Please send us ftp info by editing your first post
or rename "htaccess.txt" to ".htaccess" at the site root folder.

I change the permission to 777. It is still not working. You said I should provide you with FTP info and I have done that. Use the test/development server to do what you said you are going to do.

I think you have an issue with your imagick, do you have imagick installed on your server? can you provide me phpmyadmin access, please? so we can inspect this issue further.

I have provided additional information to let access CPANEL. The last time I spoke with my hosting providers, they told me that imagick is enabled.

Please check again the upload photo should work fine now, this issue cuased by your imagick, now I change the imageEngine to phpGD.
