Welcome the Technical Support section. Help us in assisting you by providing us with a concise and descriptive elaboration of your issues. Be specific and if possible, provide us with a step-by-step instruction in replicating your problem.
I just had a strange issue when migrating my test website hosted in localhost online. The picture posting feature stopped working.
You can see the issue on the attached picture : when trying to post a picture-status, the image is uploaded, but once finished, the user cannot actually post it, as the "cancel" and "post" buttons are missing.
Everything is acting like if the image loading program considered the image still being loading, even if it's actually finished.
I didn't have the issue when testing the site on localhost. It appeared for the first time during my first online test.
What should I do to correct this issue ? ( The university in which I'm working did several firewall changes recently, and I suspect the issue to come from that. But maybe it's a common software bug, that's why I'm asking you too )
Please provide us with working administrator credentials.
I can't login to your site.
Please, edit your first post and add credentials to corresponding fields.
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
I'm sorry, but I cannot provide you administrator credentials.
This domain does not belong to me, but to the Turkish Ministry for Higher Studies, so the decision to grant these privileges is not mine.
I can fill a form to ask the Ministry to grant you access, but I'll have an answer in three month time, and unfortunately my internship there will finish in a month, so it is pointless.
That is the reason why we should try to solve it using the old way.
I'm exploring right now the "firewall changes" idea I have and hope it will correct the problem, but I will be glad if you could help me as well. I can provide you with other screenshots or information if you want, but still no admin access, sorry.
