Problem with links to photos and videos

Hi,
I'm getting error messages when trying to folow my photos and my videos link prom profile page. In one case there is message that user don't have permision to view his own photos, in other case - 404 : There was a problem processing the request.

Hi, Ainars.

It's caused by the way server is handling SEF.
You set JomSocial as a start element of your site.
When try to browse to photos, system thinks taht there is no parent element for JomSocial (JS frontpage) and displays error.

I changed start page and it works.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Does it meens that I can't have Jomsocial as a start page?

Yes, it can't be default start page... or you disable SEF... what, I think, is unacceptable.
You may ask your hosting provider for assistance.

Ok, so lets start all over again.
You want to have your community as starting page but then photos can't be viewed.In present state they can be, right?
So, set your community as default start page and I'll take a look again.

I think I fixed it.

I created hidden menu (menu that isn't assigned to any module just to have menu item IDS for certain menu items) and created two menu items related with Photos and videos. Now it works and user can access those pages.

Please, test it.
