Hi Steven,
here the patch:
Albertus,
I appreciate you getting a patch to me with such expedience. However, it has actually made the problem worse by completely breaking video conversions. Now after I upload a video and run the cron job I get the following message.
<message>Could not convert video</message>
Then the video appears in Zencoder as it should. There is a problem in that when Zencoder attempts to pull the video it reports that the file is not there on the server. I have checked the folder and Zencoder is correct. The file is not there as it should be.
Please advise as to the next course of action.
I great appreciate your in-depth and fantastic support!
Thank you,
Steven
Hi Steven,
please make sure the settings already follow this:
app.zencoder.com/docs/guides/getting-started/working-with-s3
Regards,
Albert
Albertus,
The settings match according to the documentation from Zencoder.
To note, the video uploads were working -when uploaded one at a time- before the patch. Now the videos uploads fail altogether. It appears to be actually deleting the file *before* Zencoder has the opportunity to pull the video.

Hi Steve,
I disabled the "delete original video" from video settings. if disabled the video can converted.
manually you can delete it from originalvideos folder. we still investigating it about this issue.

Albert
Hi Steven,
here the patch.
Albertus,
I can now upload multiple videos simultaneously without the original issue. However, when I run the cron job, I do see the following error:
"This page contains the following errors:
error on line 1 at column 6: XML declaration allowed only at the start of the document
Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error."
I thank you for resolving my original issue. Now if we can get the new issue corrected too I will be even more appreciative!
Thank you,
Steven Dunn
Hi Steven,
that because at beginning of XML header containing white space. basically you can ignore that error.
but I already take out the XML header for you, to disable the XML error.
/components/com_community/libraries/cron.php line 18
//echo '<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?' . '>';
