When changing cover nothing happens after selecting a file, there is no option to select a file of an image to upload to an album, an album created few seconds ago it shows that it was created 5 months ago!
All I get is the 'ReferenceError: pluploader is not defined' inside firebug. Disabling SEF is not an option because it will break a lot of our links. Can you help us please!

The FTP access detail it works for me. But adminstrator access detail it seem not valid. Could please make sure it again.
I need that for debugging purpose.

1. First if you can, try to update your jomsocial. i don't know your jomsocial is uptodate or not, because I can't login as administrator.
2. maybe there is some plugins conflict (plugins with system types)
3. maybe there is a JS conflict from your template.

but all points still possibility. I need your administrator for make sure about that.

I alredy fixed your issue. the problem with Joomla configuration.php

public $live_site = '';

I can see a change on the upload image popup I am able to select files and upload them but they don't show up in the album and still nothing happens when uploading a profile cover photo (Uploading system in general).
Please keep on helping us to fix this issue.

please try to disabling your chat bar. Because at my local copy, the chat bar not running and I can upload any pic's without any problems.

It will good if you have localhost enviroment, so you can know the problem with the live server.

I was able to fix the issue by hacking into photos.cover.add.php and photos.htmlmultiuploader.php, I unwrapped the CRoute::_('index.php?..') and replaced it by the absolute path. I think this issue will affect joomla websites with SEF enabled.
