click on the "view all videos" link in group page it goes to "my videos"

hi support,

I have this problem that when you are in a group page and you want to see "All videos" of that group. When you click on the link, you see "my videos" if you are logged in and if you are "not" logged in , you see "No Public videos available". This is the case even if the group is public.

any help to fix this is appreciated.

Hi, Von.

It was happening because JomSocial frontpage menu item was set as site home item, so system cuts out path and created wrong path.
I changed home menu item to Blog and it works fine.
You could also disable Joomla! SEF... but you rather not like it ;)


- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

hi michal,

is there a way around this? I would like jomsocial to be the home page and not the blog section to be the home page.

I tested the 3.0.2.6 upgrade but it broke the events in my test env.

I get the error "Sorry, we cannot find the specified event."

so I am hesitant to upgrade for now.

I am now on 3.0.2.5 which fixed the "all events" link in the group.

I think I fixed it :)
I disabled Videos menu item in JomSocial toolbar menu and created Group Videos menu item right under Groups.

Now JomSocial is home element and browsing to group and clicking Videos unde group avatar redirects to group videos only.
Please check it.
