Welcome the Technical Support section. Help us in assisting you by providing us with a concise and descriptive elaboration of your issues. Be specific and if possible, provide us with a step-by-step instruction in replicating your problem.
We use @moment nextend slider2 , jomsocial and easydiscuss - @moment we have trouble with jomsocial together with smartslider2 - if i open the video page the sider is away
We ask the nexend support for that and we got following response :
It seems like you have a lot of different jQuery-s loaded on your site and they are conflicting with each other. It produces a Javascript error, which blocks the whole loading. If you fix that error everything will be fine.
The line which throws the error is:
jQuery('.hasTooltip').tooltip({"html": true,"container": "body"});
I dont want to touch the code of jomsocial - so I ask you about this problem what we can do.
Js script conflicts are hard to fix. Every developer adds to his script a jQuery (customized or not) and it caused troubles when you use other extensions.Fixing conflicts like that are not an easy task.
Please hold on, I'll ask our developers for advice.
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
I reviewed your site and noticed that you load A LOT of various js scripts.
Slider is gone also on other pages e.g: ROOT/hotels-sizilien.html where JomSocial files and scripts are not loaded.
So Slider issue is not JomSocials fault.
JS scripts come from plugins so maybe try disable plugins one by one.
Also please notice that this is 3rd party issue and it will be not supported on JomSocial forum.
I recommend to hire a developer to solve that issue:
