JomSocial Expired

Hello, I have a copy of the latest version of JomSocial Pro installed on my site and I have set up accounts with Zencoder and Amazon S3 and linked them both to JomSocial for video upload.

The whole process goes pretty smoothly, and mostly works except for one key issue. I uploaded about a dozen videos as a test and while some of them worked, some of them didn't. You can assess this for yourself by visiting the site.

I've already done some troubleshooting on my own, and I discovered the problem but not the reason why. I found that in the database, the path listed for the broken videos is "videos/videos/894/<hash>.mp4", but they were actually stored on Amazon at the path "videos/videos/894/videos/videos/894/<hash>.mp4".

Somewhere in the JomSocial code the path is being duplicated, but not for every video. I don't know what the difference is because all the videos were uploaded from the same location around the same time and in the same format and so on. The only possibility I can think if is that it might happen when a video is uploaded while there's already a video in the processing queue.

I don't have the time to debug the issue myself, so if you can help me figure it out I would appreciate it. Thanks!

Hi, Alan.

I'm sorry but I can access your site in order to investigate. I get errors in bot front- and backend:

prntscr.com/3piseg
prntscr.com/3pisle

Please check your installation and Joomla! configuration.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Hello Michal,

Sorry about that! Strangely I was able to access both the front and back end without any problems, but the log file folder was indeed wrong. Can you please try again now that I changed it?
