Setting Max Image Size for Avatar Image

Hi There,
Where can I specify a max size for images uploaded for profile avatar?

Can I also add this limit on the image up loader pop up for user information?

btw, please use 205.204.85.39/administrator to access back end as the site is under development

Hi, Jana.

Max file size is set by your server and/or Joomla!.

In Joomla! you can set it: Backend -> Media Manager -> Options -> Maximum Size (in MB)

On server you can use global settings in your cPanel or WHM or use local php.ini file with parameters:
upload_max_filesize = 10M
post_max_size = 10M

Or in htaccess:
php_value upload_max_filesize 10M
php_value post_max_size 10M

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

I have updated the size limit both on the server and on my media manager to allow images up to 10 MB but still any image beyond 5 MB does not get uploaded. What can be causing this issue?

Please provide us with working administrator credentials.
I can't login to your developer site.
Please, edit your first post and add credentials to corresponding fields.
