You folks have provided amazing support, I am impressed beyond belief so I feel a little dumb asking another question .....

I am going to be transferring images from a phpBB Mod, phpBB Gallery. I will have to do it all by hand but I can't find a way to create a user album to place the images into.

Is there indeed even a way for me to create an album for a user so that I can upload images into it. Then, once there am I able to change the uploader's name from mine to the users?

Alternatively do you know a way to automatically transfer nik vergessen's gallery to JomSocial?

Well the only way is I think to create the albums manually on front-end and then change the "creator" in database in tabel "community-photo-albums". However I never done that, so I suggest to check this first on some dev site :)
