Welcome the Technical Support section. Help us in assisting you by providing us with a concise and descriptive elaboration of your issues. Be specific and if possible, provide us with a step-by-step instruction in replicating your problem.
Yes, it is designed that way. If you share something on Facebook (taken from other user on FB) do comments go to original object or stay with currently commented?
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
Hello. I'm not sure how does FB works, but in JS users can't comment video.
I think there is two solution:
1. Add comments to original video because there is no such a big community as FB and every single comment like a GOLD, so we need to collect this comments at video's page to save them forever.
Or
2. Add link to original video, so user can navigate to it and comment video exactly. For example, open video not in popup window (in new page). So after watching usrEr will comment video exactly.
In now way, users can't understand why their comments doesn't display at video's page.
Maybe it's not clear to users as the only difference between those posts are notices:
Michal Dluzak uploaded a video.
Admin Nauczyciel shared Michal Dluzak's video
First one is video post. Second one Is simple post but with information about video posted previously.
Anyway, add feature request and describe it there how it should look/work like.
