I am looking for a soution to allow users to upload one image to a specific album.
I want to feature this album to be seen by all users and guests.
This featued album will become a mini gallery of user submitted photos to this album.


How would I go about achieving this?

You could try this:

1. Create group - allow:
+ Enable Photo Sharing
+ Allow Members to Upload Photos and Create Albums
2. Go to group photos
3. Create an album
4. Feature it
5. Ask your community members to join that group and upload photos to this album ONLY (as the are able to create another albums... but not feature them)

-Do you have another solution that will achieve better objective of funneling user to upload image into one album. This album would attainable via a menu item.

Michal says "as the are able to create another albums... but not feature them" - This seems to be a impediment to the user attention span and focus, is there ways around this?

With my current design, I have disabled groups. As a newer community, I choose to integrate easydiscuss as place of discussions instead of groups. Groups don't have the same intimacy as EasyDiscuss, especially for new networks.

My goal is to create a showcase of concepts that allows people to upload their images to this featued gallery album for the whole world to see!
