Hello,
I have override videos file and changed player to jwplayer.
This is manually uploaded video
kollegekidd.com/dev/index.php/cnv/kolleg...ideo/3716-shantanu-1
This is youtube video
kollegekidd.com/dev/index.php/cnv/kolleg...lly-restored-version
Its working properly.
The problem is,
If I want to embed any youtube video in my blog, youtube gives me embed link which is also having social icons on it.
I came to know that jomsocial does not have embed link for manually uploaded videos. From my other jomsocial ticket I got link to embed video in blog. Here is the link.
kollegekidd.com/dev/images/originalvideos/64/OxgDr43LHos.mp4
If I post this link in blog it works fine,
shantanupanse14.blogspot.in/
But, it does not have social sharing on it. I have used jwplayer on videos page so when I post manually uploaded video in my blog, will it be with jwplayer ? so that I can have social sharing on it ?
If not, how to have social sharing icons on manually uploaded video's embed link ?
Hi, Parth Lawate.
Probably you're referring to "Share this" button.
You linking on your blog ONLY video file kollegekidd.com/dev/images/originalvideos/64/OxgDr43LHos.mp4.
And "Share this" is part of JomSocial system. It is displayed ONLY inside JomSocial.
You expected that if you link a file from your server (in this case video) it will transfer JomSocial share feature? Noooo :)
Hi Michal,
No : ) I know Share button will not be there in my blog :) :)
I want to use jwplayer with social icons which is already used on jomsocial video page, link given above.
If you embed any youtube video in blog or if you link youtube video in jomsocial then youtube player by default shows social sharing icons on player.
But If I share manually uploaded video link in blog, it does not show that.
Hi, Parth.
Ok, I see your point. You embed in your blog a plain file:
kollegekidd.com/dev/images/originalvideos/2452/wObquiEpJXx.mp4
so it will never have a sharing button as this is just a movie file. Share button is added by player. So you'll need to embed your video file via some player. I don't know if your blog has any built in plugins to do that.
See the difference in code:
Hi, Parth.
No problem, I'll wait ;)
