Hey guys,

is there a way to approve a uploaded video by admin, before the video will published? I don't mean the approve by the cronjob.

I want be sure, that the uploaded video is "clean of content".

So if there is a possibility to check the video first, then approv or disapprove.

I am sorry, this is impossible, we dont have video approval by admin right now.

For me, this feature is very important. So we need it.
Have you an idea, how I can realize it in the current version? My idea is to use any unimportant boolean field of Joomla itself or of Jomsocial and make a flag (false) for every user or group and new registration users. Each video that is uploaded from each user or group, who have the flag=false, will not published automatically. So the admin have to check this video and can publish it.

Would you recommend that?

I suggest you hire the 3rd party to achive this, by hacking the code as well.. I am sorry we cant help you too much :(

please take this feature in the next release. It is a very important point, because otherwise user could upload any kind of videos. And that becomes problems with the license, law, and so on (especially in Europe)
