JomSocial Expired Socialize Expired

Ok so Profile COVERS look HORRENDOUS! I am a photographer so this bothers me big time. I changed the settings to HIGHEST and it still looks like gum on the sidewalk! I saw a post about imagick but I cant locate this extension on the joomla site!

Please help me improve the image quality of the site to the highest!!

Also, when you change the cover or profile image there is a delay while it uploads but there is no indication that it is working, this will cause problems because ppl with hit "upload image" again and start all over. I did this all of last night until I realized I just had to wait.

PLEASE HELP ASAP. I want to launch my site ASAP!

Hi, Gerardo.

Please provide us with working credentials so we could log in to your site... "i use two pass authentication" does not help us..

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Hi, Gerardo.

I haven't received your message - please edit your first post and add login details there.

Also ask your hosting provider for path to ImageMagick.
Here is document about quality settings in ImageMagick: www.imagemagick.org/script/command-line-options.php#quality

Hi, Gerardo.

No I said that ImageMagick is an library that can be used within Joomla
But you need to have it installed on your server.

So:

1. Also ask your hosting provider if it is installed and for path to ImageMagick.
2. Enter path to ImageMagick in JomSocial -> Photos -> Photo Settings -> ImageMagick Path (optional)
3. Ask your hosting provider to set maximum quality in ImageMagick
4. Test it if images look better

I am upgrading my website to a dedicated server and will then install imagemagick. I will get back to this topic if I still need help. This will take at least another 24 hours! :)

Hi, Gerardo.

Happy to hear it. Just paste path to library. Here you have some docs: www.imagemagick.org/script/command-line-options.php#quality

Hi, Gerardo.

Yes, that should do the trick... JomSocial should use library and its settings.
