I have set the Community - Photos Module to display in a fairly large position, however I cannot find out how to...

1) Set the maximum size of the each preview image. Right now, they are scaled down and look terrible after scaling (as if they are scaled down, then rescaled back up to fill the space). Id like to actually set them smaller, and appear in two rows.

2) Id like to be able to set the number of images that appear in the preview at one time.

Ultimately, Id like to have two rows of small previews of the latest "public" contributed gallery images. I sort of expected this to be exposed on the module itself...

Hi, Lynn.

To help you I need to see how it looks like now on your site... but I can't access it.
Please provide us with working administrator credentials.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

I have done a little investigation though that may help. For customer security, giving back end access is a last resort.

Here's screenshot 1 - where its showing very big and fuzzy in the Lumiere template from Rockettheme.

Here is screenshot 2 - where the browser has been resized, and it looks a bit more normal:

Almost all Rockettheme templates now are responsive. It looks like the module is assuming that its a static module position.

Id like to be able to show the preview images scaled properly, and control the maximum number appearing. How do I do that? There are no controls to speak of in the module itself.

Hi, Lynn.

At least I need to see that to check the code.
I'm sorry but I can't help you based only on screen shots...

Please post link where I could see it in my browser. Add to credential box any login details (if needed)

You didn't actually provide a solution. The solution ended up being JoomlaXTC Gallery Wall for JomSocial.

The Jomsocial module is inflexible and feature limited for use as a gallery. Im not saying you guys need to have all of the JoomlaXTC features (it has a lot of different styles and configurations), but the default Jomsocial Gallery module is not very useful. I should at least be able to control a few variables such as number of photos, image size, or set parameters like show latest photos, etc.

Hi, Lynn.

1. How could we provide you a solution if we even couldn't see module on your site? I asked you for access to your site...

2. you could help us to improve by posting feature request here: uservoice.jomsocial.com/forums/101561-feature-request
