FFmpeg could not convert videos
Hi, John.
First make sure that FFMPEG path is correct. Ask your hosting provider about it.
Second, disable Video Debugging to get rid of extra content error.
Hi, Jigga J.
I didn't mark is as a resolved... yet :)
Did you checked FFMPEG paths? Did you disabled Video debugg?
yes i checked the paths and even got a 200 : Stream Not Found..... error also video debugging is off. Is there any hosting companies that work well out the gate with your software? Also is there a common fix page for these problems?
My cron has been saying could not convert video.
Hi, Jigga J.
First you need to have FFMPEG installed on server then you need to set correct path to that libraries in JomSocial.
On what you describe I presume that you probably: a) don't have libraries installed or/and b) paths are incorrect.
Did you ask about FFMPEG libraries paths your hosting provider?
I have proper path for ffmpeg on two separate hosting companies. I have checked the paths using which ffmpeg. They are correct.
this is on the arvixe server
I attached a file from - public_html/images/videos/781 Please advise if this gives you any ideas of what could be wrong. there are multiple mp4's with no data. i checked with host the paths are correct.
if you know a host that works well out of the gate with jomsocial please advise
On My bluehost server i don't even get the mp4'sin the videofolder i am going to keep trying
Hi, Jigga J.
Ask your hosting provider for FFMPEG library version and if they are on CentOS.
Hi, Jigga J.
This is know CentOs hosting issue and does not only apply to JomSocial.
I add a developer to this thread, he'll advise you.
Hi, Jigga J.
This is known CentOS issue - not JomSocial related... first try to update FFMPEG library.
