Dimas,
To clarify can this Amazon S3 error be resolved with the cron functioning properly in PHP 5.4 if I install mod_mime_magic and mod_mime?
I do appreciate your assistance.
-Steven
it should be can be resolved, because my server also use PHP 5.4 and installed that library, and everything is working fine.
Dimas,
How long until these libraries are no longer required for S3 use in JomSocial? I would like to know before I have my server admin install the modules...as it is not free.
-Steven
Hi Steven,
Actually we will solve this in version 3.3, but I will try talk to the PM so we can get it in version 3.2
Hi Steven,
I will give you an update if our team fix this issue in 3.2
Hi Steve,
You're welcome :)
Dimas,
It is good to talk to you again.
I have installed the latest 3.2 JomSocial update and the Amazon S3 "_mime" errors are still appearing. Do you have an ETA on when this issue will be resolved?
I appreciate your assistance on these issues!
Thank you,
Steven Dunn
Hi Steve,
We changed schedule for this issue, we will fix it in version 3.3.. our project owner decided that.
So for time being I suggest you really enable the mime library on your server.
thank you
Hi Steven.
Please extract those files here > \components\com_community\libraries\storage\s3_lib.php(it'll be included into our next installation package)
And then check the issue once again, it should fix the problem. If not, please let us know and we'll look into this once again.
Chris,
My apologies for the late reply.
I have uploaded and installed the PHP file. It has resolved my S3 transfer issues perfectly!
Thank you for your assistance!
-Steven
