Hi,

Uploading images in IE just hangs! You go to upload, choose a file no problem, then when you click on upload file you wait...and wait....and wait.
Trying the same image in FF and Chrome....10 secs tops!

Any ideas what could be causing this please?

Hi, Paul.

In what version of Internet Explorer you have that issue?

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

I've got IE 9 on my pc and the Upload Photos and Delete Album links don't work at all. Loads of formatting is out too like profile cover.

My business partner probably has IE 10 as his laptop is only a year old and it was on this that the original issue occurred.

Hi
nope...upgraded to 3.1.0.4 and the issue is still here. In fact...there seem to be a fair few issues with IE9...see the images attached...
Cover pics have disappeared... formatting of the modules, list of events, list of groups etc muddled.....

Makes JS look really poor.....even though I know it looks brill in FF and Chrome!!

Any ideas?

Cheers

Hi, Paul.

Many users reported us a lot of issues with IE8, IE9, IE10 and also IE11. So our developers will have to look them closer.
As for now I can only suggest to use "Compatibility mode"... but probably it will not help for uploading issue.
