You are still using the old Jomsocial old version, I suggest you upgrade it first to the latest version 3.1.1, you can do it from iJoomla installer if you done with it, please you re test your issue, and let me know how it goes then.

Can u send the steps for "upgrading JomSocial to latest version 3.1.1, using iJoomla installer"...

We have done lot of customization in our site so is there any way that we can upgrade it (to 3.1.1) on top of current version (3.0)?

1. you can download the latest package in "my account" page
2. in that package you will get the ijoomla installer
3. install ijoomla installer and install Jomsocial via ijoomla installer

If so then are there any other options for installing jomsocial 3.1.1 on top of current version of jomsocial?

#1 It will replace the current insallation, and all files will be replaced with the newest one
#2 You can apply can upgrade Jomsocial via patch method.. www.jomsocial.com/forum/bugfixes-and-upgrade-patches
