Search for video not working

Hi,

Under the video menu , there are many public videos listed. but when we search for any one video from that public video list. it will not search for the video from that list. why this is happening? Can you give me solution for this?

Hi,

Search seems to work fine. The problem is with your menus, you're using some custom ACL setup and JomSocial does NOT support Joomla ACL yet. This will come in future versions. If you use a 'regular' Joomla acl like Public or registered it all works fine.

- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements: bit.ly/WyZyrL
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job: bit.ly/10OzfPN
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Also, most of the videos were set to 'only me'. Only 1 or 2 were set to public.
