Hi I had a look at forum for how to remove videos , groups appearing on the homepage for users but was unable to find the right answers . I realise the template of jomsocial includes those but could you describe in easiest description how to remove those step by step. I don't have much development experience and would appreciate your help. For example what I need is the "how to" where exactly I go to change these settings on joomla and what lines of code would I need etc. Is there much work involved on back end and how would I make sure it updates every time there is a jomsocial upgrade.

I'm trying to remove videos and groups appearing in the menus for users . It seems to be standard template of profile , contacts, videos, groups and bookings . I'm just wondering if you could give me a general how to to remove these . Is there much coding involved and is it a big task to put back once you guys upgrade jomsocial or joomla? Do you get many people changing these?
