JomSocial Expired

JomSocial,

How do you install this Ffmpeg? All you say in you instruction video is that it's important you give the path to your ffmpeg. I think I installed both the Cron job and ffmpeg just fine but my videos are clearly not converting so something's wrong. My business relies on social media and videos. My objective is to get mp4 files playing on there with the add-on component from Cholalabs HTML5 Player. But the first step is to get this working with the native JomSocial Flash. Please give me some answers as to how to get this video upload and playing function added to my JomSocial site.

Thanks in advanced,
John

Hi John,

#1 you need contact the server admin to install FFMPEG and ask the FFMPEG path, then put that FFMPEG path on Jomsocial configuration which mentioned from here documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Video_L..._Upload_Requirements
#2 The video which you uploaded need to be converted with FFMPEG then, and need cron jobs for this. For how to setup cron job please read here documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Setting_Up_Cron_Job
