I originally posted this problem in another thread on the forum but I do not want to be a thread hijacker.

I have two issues currently. The first is that when I use Zencoder to transcode my videos they have no thumbnails. Zencoder is creating the thumbnail and depositing it to the correct location on my server, it is just not appearing on the video.

The second issue is I have now decided to move to using FFMPEG. I have FFMPEG, FFMPEG-PHP, and all extensions/codecs successfully installed and verified by a third party. However JomSocial still displays the error "could not convert video" in the cron window.

I am currently operating JomSocial 3.1.0.1

I will greatly appreciate any and all support.

I now have FFMPEG working, however there are still no thumbnails when using Zencoder or FFMPEG.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

I am currently using Centos 6.

Currently I have the following setup using Zencoder while I patch security vulnerabilities with the "exec/passthru/shell_exec/system access" commands for FFMPEG functionality.

1. A video is uploaded into JomSocial.
2. The video is sent to Zencoder via JomSocial's default cron mechanism.
3. I adjusted the "$outputBaseUrl" in video.php to store the files locally on my server.
4. Video and thumbnail are deposited from Zencoder into the local directory.
5. The video plays successfully but the media player does not load the correct thumbnail. Instead it loads the "video_thumbs.png".
6. Fetch thumbnail button does not work.

Any and all assistance with resolving the issue of my thumbnails not properly displaying will be greatly appreciated.

Oh Centos this is valid bug from us, we have some issue regarding FFMPEG converting in Centos, we are still inspecting this.
