Hi,

I have been trying to configure the login set-up for an Intranet Portal I am building. I have tried dozens of variations using the Login Module, Hello Me Module, and Jomsocial Redirect Plugin to try and achieve what I need.

What I need:
- A homepage that is strictly the Login module (no option for registration). The Login redirect must be www.mysiteurl.com
- The Login Page must occur for any guest trying to access www.mysiteurl.com , as well as any other internal page an unregistered user may try to access without being logged in.
- The Logout Redirect must go to www.mysiteurl.com
- I have set up the default homepage using the 'Hello Me' Login module, which can be found under Menus --> Login Menu Items,
- I am currently using both the 'Hello Me' and 'Jomsocial Redirect' plugin to try and achieve my desired outcome - both of these are currently active
- I will not be utilizing Jomsocial Frontpage at all for this website/intranet, therefore I need to avoid this page.

The Problem - (there are a few)
- Upon Logout or a Logout Redirect (when a session times out), I land on a page that has 2 different login forms. One of which seems to be the Joomla Core login form, which is not activated. (See Logout Redirect Page screenshot)
- Logout Redirect always defaults to the following URL = www.mysiteurl.com/index.php/component/us...iew=login&Itemid=125 . I need the logout redirect to go only to www.mysiteurl.com/index.php .

I have spent countless hours with this configuration. I would love some direction or documentation, or perhaps even some assistance with setting it up correctly.

Thanks in advance :)

HI, Robert.

Thank you for contacting us.
You have two login forms as after login you're redirected to native Joomla! login page.
So first, check your redirections carefully, check permissions of landing pages.
It's all I can say after what you wrote. To say more I need to see your configuration.

If you want to lock your site completely, there is a way :)
Please, check this thread: www.jomsocial.com/forum/events/28553-glo...ered?start=14#167853

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
