Hi,
Attached file shows a part of a group activity stream where a user, in this case admin, has joined a group. There appears to be a bug as next to the name a bit ouf source code is shown. I have seen this kind of bug in other situations as well. Can this be fixed?
Regards,
Gunnar

Hi, Gunnar.

Thank you for contacting us.
This is not a bug - you just use outdated language file.
You need to edit language file, look for that string and remove all with braces {}.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Hi Michal,
I am sometimes quite amazed. I spend a lot of time looking for the solution to a problem. After tearing off what is left of the hair on my head, I have to give up on it and I write you a question. You always know what the problem/solution is! But then again, I am not an HTML-developer and you are. In either case, with a bit of luck I found the language file (there are more than 150 of them) and the corrupt language constant and put the corrected one in my language override file. Tested ok. Problem solved. My German language override file is getting longer and longer and when my project is finished, it might be valuable for others so I guess I will then send it somewhere for public use or make it available on you site.
Thanks,
Gunnar
