New Register Refreshes

Hi :D,

I have been testing out our site, and found that the register component works fine, however when more info is introduced in the fields it simply refreshes the page and the info is still present. I have had a look at the custom fields there are no limits set up, and also there are no problem registering someone with less info. I have tried making the info less but the name of the charity is quite long. Again there are no limits to the fields or custom fields.

We had the same problem with creating events, but that seems to be fixed after updating Joomla and Jomsocial. Any reason why the registration would refresh itself, and hold the info still?

Hmm... I'm not sure whet you mean. It would be much easier to if I could see it.
Could you make a screencast?
Or at least describe step by step how I could call that issue?

- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

I tried to register and filled all the fields.
Registration was successful...
it seems to work fine... do I need to fill fields with specific data?

Hi,

When we insert less information or a smaller heading the registration is fine and is successful. When the info is a bit more like in the video it refreshes the page, but does not indicate where the problem is. I have not set any max or min limits on the fields so I am not sure why it would be doing this though.I have filled the form in the same fields as the video with just TEST and a random digit and it is successful.

Morning, I am really not sure why it is doing that I have tried different PC's and internet ISP's and it still does that. Could it be the browser, as we all only use Chrome? We also have tried creating an event and it does the same thing. Is there a way for me to troubleshoot this?

Hi,

I have tried disabling the extension but it still does the same thing. Is there possibly an update problem or bug maybe? This is highly frustrating, really not sure what it could possibly be!
