Hi there. We are trying to implement AlphaUserPoints with Jomsocial's points system and we found this page: documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/User_Points_System

We don't know where to go or where to put the "API code".

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Perhaps I should re-phrase things.
Basically, we just want the points to work with alphauserpoints.
I'm confused with the whole API portion. I don't know what to do or where to go to put the codes in to make it work.
I'm a basic Joomla user, so this whole API thing is new to me. It's the first time I've ever heard of it. :)

I think you need to hire 3rd party developer.. or you contact alphauserpoints for this matter

I suppose I will keep searching elsewhere for helpful answers and perhaps learn more along the way. :)

You don't have to touch any JomSocial User Points API's if you want to use the third-party solution like AlphaUserPoints.
AUP is the third-party extension created and supported by people that do not work for our company and hence we do not have the access to their development codes.

We provide the API for third-party to use if they want. For any issue you might be having with AUP, those have to be handled by it's respective developer.
